Some moments typically have a significant impact on your health. We created Life Events to learn how these moments affect your health and what can be done to lead a healthier life.

To add a new Life Event, Click "Add Life Event" or follow the steps below.

For the Avail app, follow these steps:

  1. Tap the "More" menu on the bottom right of the screen.
  2. Tap "+ Track an Event".
  3. Select Life Event.
  4. Choose the date that the event occurred.
  5. Choose the area of your life where the event occurred. If you can’t find the specific event you are looking for, try selecting a different area where it might be categorized. Still don’t see what you're looking for? Click below to let us know what you would like to see added.
  6. Click the specific event that occurred.
  7. Select whether the event was positive or negative.
  8. Rank the impact of the event on a scale of 1 to 5.
  9. Give the event a name and description. This will help you recognize when a health trend leads to a specific event and how this event affected your health.
  10. Click "Submit".

For Desktop, follow these steps:

  1. Click "Dashboard" on the left hand side menu.
  2. Scroll down to the history module.
  3. Tap "Add Life Event"
  4. Choose the date that the event occurred.

Events in Action

A few days ago Douglas found out that he failed an exam. Looking back at his Avail score, Douglas can see that he was on a negative trend leading up to the day of the exam. From this, Doug can learn to take study breaks and focus on maintaining a healthy body in mind to perform better on his next exam.
